Bedroom Deep Clean

Updated: Dec 17

A deep clean is a more detailed and comprehensive type of cleaning than a regular clean and can totally transform a room. It means cleaning away all kinds of dirt and grime that has accumulated over a long period of time on the deepest surfaces or corners of the house, paying attention to those areas that are not always cleaned so frequently. When I first begin work with a new client, it's the service I like to begin with as a deep clean will set the standard going forward.

I'm sometimes asked how long I'll need to do a full house deep clean. I can't give an exact answer to that question and there are a number of reasons for this. A deep clean is not a simple 'wipe down'. It's giving products time to dwell, removing limescale, cleaning mould, dusting from top to bottom, pulling out shower plugs, cleaning windows and much more. It also depends on the severity of the dirt. One house may need one limescale treatment to make a shower screen perfectly clear and shiny. Others may need numerous treatments to achieve the desired finish. It's not a service that can be rushed if you want the best results. Deep cleans take longer, use more product but are extremely satisfying.

The process of cleaning when done correctly is not a quick spray here and there. It's the little things that make a big difference. It's the extra 5 minutes spent getting rid of a stubborn mark on a hob that a client thought would need replacing. It's not just cleaning the cap covering a shower drain - it's pulling it out and cleaning it fully. Every room benefits from a thorough deep clean from time to time (ideally every 6 months). Here is my checklist for a bedroom/dressing room deep clean...
